Buddy Guy este un chitarist și cântăreț american de blues, reprezentant al blues-ului din Chicago. Revista Rolling Stone l-a clasat pe locul 30 în topul celor mai buni 100 de chitariști din toate timpurile. În 1985 a fost introdus în Blues Hall of Fame, iar în 2005 în Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Albumul The Blues Don't Lie a fost lansat în septembrie 2022 la casa de discuri RCA, fiind al nouăsprezecelea album de studio al artistului. Materialul cuprinde 16 piese, printre care I let my guitar do the talking, Blues Don't Lie, The World Needs Love sau Gunsmoke Blues. Guy demonstrează din nou pe acest album forța stilului său chitaristic și vocea inconfundabilă de blues.
