Fleetwood Mac este o trupă rock britanico-americană fondată la Londra în 1967 de chitaristul Peter Green și bateristul Mick Fleetwood. Trupa a cunoscut numeroase schimbări de componență și perioade stilistice — de la începuturile blues, prin country rock, până la muzica pop mainstream a anilor '70 și '80.
Box set-ul 25 Years: The Chain a fost lansat pe 23 noiembrie 1992 de casa de discuri Warner Bros. Records și conține 72 de piese pe patru CD-uri, acoperind un sfert de secol din istoria formației. Compilația reunește hituri clasice (Sara, You Make Loving Fun, Little Lies, Gypsy) alături de versiuni alternative ale pieselor cunoscute și înregistrări live. Reedicția din 2012 a atins locul întâi în Noua Zeelandă și locul doi în Australia.
La momentul lansării, formula trupei includea pe bateristul Mick Fleetwood, basistul John McVie, Christine McVie la claviature și voce, precum și pe chitaristul și vocalistul Billy Burnette.
