Jethro Tull este o trupă britanică de rock progresiv fondată în 1967, al cărei lider este cântărețul, chitaristul și flautistul Ian Anderson. Muzica lor îmbină elemente de folk, hard rock, blues și muzică clasică, distingându-se prin sunetul caracteristic al flautului și prin structura compozițională complexă.
Albumul A a fost lansat inițial în 1980 și era conceput ca proiect solo al lui Ian Anderson, dar a fost în cele din urmă publicat sub numele trupei. La înregistrări, alături de Anderson, a participat doar chitaristul Martin Barre. Această ediție aniversară conține remixuri noi semnate Steven Wilson, create din benzile originale, incluzând versiuni extinse și înregistrări timpurii.
