Thomas Newman este un compozitor american de muzică de film, membru al unei dinastii extinse de compozitori hollywoodieni care include tatăl său Alfred Newman, fratele său David Newman și vărul său Randy Newman. În cariera sa a câștigat șase premii Grammy, un premiu Emmy și două premii BAFTA, fiind nominalizat de cincisprezece ori la Premiile Oscar.
