Richard M. Sherman a fost un compozitor american care, alături de fratele său Robert, s-a consacrat prin muzica pentru musicaluri cinematografice — conform surselor oficiale Walt Disney Company, au creat mai multe partituri muzicale pentru filme decât orice alt duo de compozitori din istoria cinematografiei.
Coloana sonoră Mary Poppins a apărut în 2005 pe CD la casa de discuri Walt Disney Records și surprinde spectacolul de pe Broadway al acestui musical clasic. Albumul cuprinde 21 de înregistrări cu cele mai cunoscute cântece ale fraților Sherman, printre care A Spoonful of Sugar, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Chim Chim Cher-Ee și Feed the Birds. Rolul principal, Mary Poppins, este interpretat de Laura Michelle Kelly, Bert este interpretat de Gavin Lee, iar cuplul Banks de David Haig și Linzi Hateley.
