The Searchers au fost o trupă britanică de muzică rock fondată la Liverpool în 1959. Au făcut parte din scena merseybeat și, alături de The Beatles, au avut succes internațional în timpul invaziei britanice din anii 60.
Albumul dublu The Farewell Album / The Greatest Hits & More a fost lansat în 2019 pe 2 CD-uri digipack de casa de discuri BMG. Compilația cuprinde 50 de înregistrări care includ cele mai celebre hituri ale trupei — printre care Sweets for My Sweet, Needles and Pins, When You Walk in the Room, Don't Throw Your Love Away și Sugar and Spice. Albumul documentează cariera trupei, care alături de Swinging Blue Jeans au fost printre primele formații din Liverpool, după The Beatles, cu succes în Statele Unite.
La album au contribuit Frank Allen, Chris Curtis, Tony Jackson, John McNally, Mike Pender și Shorty Rogers.
