The White Stripes a fost un duo rock american din Detroit, format din Jack White și Meg White. Grupul s-a numărat printre principalii reprezentanți ai renașterii indie rock-ului și garage rock-ului în primul deceniu al noului mileniu și și-a încheiat activitatea în 2011.
Albumul The Complete John Peel Sessions pe 2CD a fost lansat în 2016 de casa de discuri Third Man Records ca ediție limitată exclusiv pentru magazinul Third Man din Londra. Compilația reunește înregistrările complete din legendarele sesiuni pentru BBC Radio 1 și John Peel, realizate între 2001 și 2005. Conține 29 de piese, inclusiv versiuni ale hiturilor precum Seven Nation Army, Hotel Yorba, Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground, precum și preluări ale pieselor Jolene și Death Letter. Ediția include un booklet cu note și un cod de descărcare digitală pentru toate piesele.
