Eric Clapton este un chitarist englez de blues și rock, cântăreț și compozitor, considerat în general unul dintre cei mai importanți chitariști din istorie. S-a clasat pe locul doi în lista „100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” a revistei Rolling Stone. Ca artist unic, a fost inclus de trei ori în Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – ca solist și ca membru al grupurilor Yardbirds și Cream.
