Manowar este o formație americană de heavy metal din Auburn, statul New York, cunoscută pentru sunetul epic, versurile inspirate din fantezie și mitologie și sloganul „Death to false metal”.
The Triple Album Collection a fost lansată în 2012 de casa de discuri Rhino sub forma unui box-set de compilație ce include trei albume de studio semnificative: Fighting the World (1987), Kings of Metal (1988) și The Triumph of Steel (1992). Fiecare CD este ambalat într-un manșon de carton în interiorul digipackului. Colecția cuprinde în total 27 de piese, inclusiv monumentala compoziție de aproape o jumătate de oră Achilles, Agony and Ecstasy in Eight Parts și hituri precum Hail and Kill sau Heart of Steel.
La momentul lansării albumelor originale, formația era alcătuită din Joey DeMaio, Ross the Boss, Eric Adams și Karl Logan.
