Jethro Tull este o formație britanică de progressive rock care, de la înființarea sa în 1967, a adus în muzica rock un sunet inconfundabil ce combină flautul, folk-ul, blues-ul și elemente de muzică clasică și medievală. Condusă de multiinstrumentalistul scoțian Ian Anderson, se numără printre cei mai celebri reprezentanți ai hard-folk rock-ului la nivel mondial.
RökFlöte a apărut în 2023 la casa de discuri Sony Music ca al 23-lea album de studio al formației. Acest set de trei Blu-ray-uri oferă 38 de înregistrări, incluzând douăsprezece piese inspirate din mitologia nordică — printre care Voluspo, Ginnungagap, Wolf Unchained și The Navigators — completate cu versiunile demo ale tuturor melodiilor. Albumul continuă tradiția conceptelor progresive ale Jethro Tull și vine într-un artbook cu discurile fixate pe axe din plastic în interiorul copertei.
La momentul lansării, componența era formată din șase membri: Ian Anderson (chitară acustică, flaut, armonică, voce, mandolină), David Goodier (bas), John O'Hara (acordeon, clape, pian), Anna Phoebe (vioară), Scott Hammond și Tony Williams (bas).
