John Lennon a fost un cântăreț, compozitor și chitarist britanic, unul din fondatorii trupei The Beatles. Parteneriatul Lennon/McCartney rămâne unul dintre cele mai de succes duouri de compozitori din istoria muzicii. După destrămarea trupei în 1970, a continuat ca artist solo și colaborator al lui Yoko Ono.

The Ultimate Mixes a fost lansată în 2020 de casa de discuri Universal Music Group International cu ocazia împlinirii a 80 de ani de la nașterea lui John Lennon.
