Gustavo Santaolalla este un compozitor, producător și muzician argentinian, câștigător a două premii Oscar pentru cea mai bună coloană sonoră (Brokeback Mountain, Babel) și mai multor premii Grammy. Este cunoscut pentru abordarea sa minimalistă a compoziției și influența sa asupra muzicii rock latino-americane.
Albumul The Last of Us: Season 1 a apărut în 2023 la casa de discuri Milan. Este coloana sonoră a primului sezon al serialului HBO The Last of Us, care aduce muzica atmosferică caracteristică lui Santaolalla, ce combină elemente electronice cu chitara acustică. Albumul dublu conține 68 de piese, printre care se remarcă The Last of Us, Long Long Time, Forsaken și All Gone.
