Thin Lizzy este o formație irlandeză de hard rock înființată la Dublin în 1969, condusă până la moartea sa în 1986 de basistul și vocalistul Phil Lynott. Muzica lor îmbină influențe de blues, soul, rock psihedelic și muzică tradițională irlandeză, rămânând până astăzi un reper al genului.
Box-ul limitat 1976 a fost lansat de casa de discuri Decca Records și documentează două albume cheie apărute în același an: Jailbreak și Johnny the Fox. Cele cinci discuri Blu-ray includ ambele albume în versiuni stereo originale și nou-mixate, însoțite de demo-uri, variante instrumentale, versiuni alternative și piese neutilizate din sesiunile de înregistrare – inclusiv interpretări acustice ale unor piese precum Romeo And the Lonely Girl sau Fight Or Fall. Box-ul include, de asemenea, înregistrări din emisiunile BBC (John Peel Session, 12 februarie 1976) și concertul integral susținut la Cleveland (11 mai 1976), transmis de postul de radio WMMS. Fanii vor descoperi atât hit-uri principale precum The Boys Are Back in Town, Jailbreak, Emerald sau Don't Believe a Word, cât și piese mai puțin cunoscute, precum Boogie Woogie Dance sau jam-ul instrumental Biriani Tango.
