Thunder este o formație britanică de hard rock alcătuită din cinci membri, înființată în 1989, când vocalistul Danny Bowes, chitaristul Luke Morley și bateristul Gary „Harry” James au părăsit grupul Terraplane. În anii nouăzeci, trupa a devenit cunoscută în special în Anglia natală, dar și în Japonia.
Behind Closed Doors a fost lansat în ianuarie 1995 de casa de discuri Parlophone UK ca al treilea album de studio al formației. Înregistrat între mai și august 1994 în diferite studiouri, în principal la Southern Tracks din Atlanta, albumul a fost produs de Luke Morley împreună cu Mike Fraser. Printre cele 13 piese se numără compoziții hard rock pregnante precum Moth to the Flame, Fly on the Wall, River of Pain sau înregistrarea live Low Life in High Places. Fanii hard rock-ului consideră acest disc un clasic al genului.
La album au contribuit Danny Bowes, Luke Morley, Gary „Harry” James, Ben Matthews și Chris Childs.
