Saxon este o trupă engleză de heavy metal fondată în Barnsley în 1975. Ca una dintre formațiile cheie ale new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM), au obținut un succes comercial semnificativ în anii optzeci și au influențat numeroși artiști ulteriori, inclusiv Metallica și Megadeth.
Albumul Destiny a fost lansat pe 20 iunie 1988 ca al nouălea album de studio al trupei. Această reeditare din 2021 aduce versiuni remasterizate ale tuturor pieselor originale și este extinsă cu șase înregistrări bonus – mixul 12'' al piesei I Can't Wait Anymore, înregistrările live Rock the Nations înregistrate la Hammersmith, Londra și Broken Heroes și Gonna Shout înregistrate la Madrid, precum și mixurile de monitorizare ale pieselor Ride Like the Wind și For Whom the Bell Tolls. Albumul prezintă sunetul heavy metal caracteristic trupei Saxon, cu melodii puternice și riff-uri energice de chitară.
