a-ha este o formație norvegiană de synth-pop care s-a numărat printre cele mai populare grupuri europene în anii '80. Muzica lor combină new wave, pop rock și muzică electronică.
Compilația Original Album Series a apărut în 2011 la casa de discuri Warner Records și reunește 51 de piese pe cinci CD-uri. Box-ul conține primele trei albume de studio ale formației – debutul Hunting High and Low (1985), care a adus hit-urile internaționale Take On Me și The Sun Always Shines on T.V., apoi Scoundrel Days (1986) și Stay on These Roads (1988). Fiecare disc este prezentat într-o copertă cartonată care reproduce designul originalelor pe vinil. Setul oferă o secțiune reprezentativă din epoca de aur a formației, când aceasta primea nominalizări la premiile Grammy.
Formația este alcătuită din trio-ul Morten Harket (voce), Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (chitară) și Magne Furuholmen (clape).
