Ace of Base este o trupă pop suedeză din Göteborg, care a devenit celebră în anii nouăzeci prin stilul caracteristic pop-reggae. Trupa este adesea comparată cu ABBA. Formația a fost alcătuită inițial din frații Jonas, Jenny și Linn Berggren împreună cu Ulf Ekberg.
Compilația de trei discuri Gold din 2019 pe CD reunește 46 de înregistrări din repertoriul trupei. Primul disc prezintă cele mai cunoscute hituri, precum The Sign, All That She Wants, Beautiful Life, Wheel of Fortune sau Don't Turn Around. Al doilea disc oferă remix-uri și versiuni alternative, inclusiv The Sign (The remix) și Life Is a Flower (Soul Poets Night club mix). Albumul a fost lansat de casa de discuri Crimson.
La momentul apariției albumului, trupa era formată din Jenny Berggren (lead vocals), Jonas Berggren, Ulf Ekberg și Julia Williamson (lead vocals).
