Louis Armstrong, trompetist și cântăreț american de jazz cunoscut sub pseudonimele Satchmo sau Pops, este una dintre cele mai importante figuri ale muzicii jazz din secolul 20. Originar din New Orleans, Armstrong a dezvoltat un stil distinctiv la cornet și trompetă și a popularizat tehnica vocală scat.
