Albumul Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band a fost lansat în 1967 de casa de discuri Apple Records, fiind al optulea material de studio al grupului. A fost înregistrat începând din decembrie 1966, pe parcursul a 129 de zile, timp în care The Beatles au experimentat cu orchestre, muzicieni angajați și tehnici de studio inovatoare. Sgt. Pepper a devenit imediat o icoană culturală a epocii și a câștigat patru premii Grammy, inclusiv Albumul Anului; revista Rolling Stone l-a declarat în 2003 cel mai bun album din toate timpurile. Această ediție aniversară cu șase discuri conține noi remixuri stereo și 5.1 surround, 34 de înregistrări inedite de la sesiunile de studio (printre care diverse versiuni ale pieselor Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane și A Day in the Life), filme promoționale restaurate în 4K și documentarul The Making of Sgt.
