Bloodbound este o trupă suedeză de power metal înființată în 2004. Albumul de debut Nosferatu a apărut în decembrie 2005, urmat de o serie de alte materiale discografice.
Albumul Field Of Sword pe CD oferă unsprezece piese de power metal cu tematică istorică și războinică. Printre cele mai importante se numără piesa titulară Field of Swords, Defenders of Jerusalem, Teutonic Knights și The Nine Crusades, la care colaborează trupa canadiană Unleash the Archers. Textele fac referire la ordinele cavalerești, cruciade și codul războinicului.
