David Bowie a fost un cântăreț, compozitor și actor englez, una dintre cele mai influente personalități ale muzicii mondiale din secolul XX. Cariera sa s-a caracterizat prin schimbare constantă, experimente vizuale și influență fundamentală asupra muzicii populare.
Albumul Toy a fost înregistrat în 2000 la New York și lansat postum în noiembrie 2021 de casa de discuri EMI. Bowie, împreună cu producătorul Mark Plati și trupa sa de concert (Earl Slick, Gail Ann Dorsey, Mike Garson, Sterling Campbell), a reînregistrat aici piese din perioada timpurie 1964–1971, inclusiv primul său single Liza Jane, lansat inițial sub numele David Jones with the King Bees. Albumul cuprinde în total 14 piese înregistrate live, pentru a păstra energia și spontaneitatea. Inițial urma să fie lansat la scurt timp după apariția lui Bowie la festivalul Glastonbury din 2000, însă din cauza unui conflict cu casa de discuri de atunci acest lucru nu s-a întâmplat, iar înregistrările au fost publicate oficial abia acum.
Această ediție pe vinil face parte dintr-un box de lux conținând șase discuri de 10", booklet și coperte individuale pentru fiecare set LP. Produs în Germania.
