Carpenters a fost un duo american de frați și surori care a activat în genurile pop și soft rock, în special în anii șaptezeci. Era format din Karen Anne Carpenter și Richard Lynn Carpenter. Sunetul lor fin și delicat a atras milioane de ascultători din întreaga lume.
Compilația Carpenters Gold a fost lansată în 1998 de casa de discuri A&M Records ca set de două CD-uri care cuprinde 40 de piese.
