Johnny Cash a fost un cântăreț, chitarist și compozitor american, unul dintre cei mai influenți reprezentanți ai muzicii country ai secolului XX. A devenit celebru pentru vocea sa gravă, sunetul specific al trupei sale de acompaniament Tennessee Three și vestimentația scenică neagră, care i-a adus porecla „Man in Black”.
Compilația Original Album Classics a fost lansată în 2018 pe cinci CD-uri de către casa de discuri Columbia. Boxul include în total 50 de înregistrări din diverse perioade ale carierei lui Cash, printre care piesele Cold Lonesome Morning, Without Love, Rockabilly Blues (Texas 1955), The Baron, Mobile Bay, Georgia on a Fast Train și Paradise. Setul oferă o retrospectivă a creației sale, de la country și gospel, trecând prin rockabilly, până la blues și folk.
