Trupa americană de rock Chicago s-a format în 1967 și a devenit cunoscută pentru îmbinarea rock-ului cu elemente de jazz, muzică clasică și R&B. Grupul se autodefinește drept „rock and roll band with horns”, iar sunetul caracteristic este dat de instrumentele de suflat, care constituie baza activității muzicale.
Albumul Chicago At the John F.Kennedy Center For... pe vinil prezintă concertul istoric din Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts din Washington, înregistrat în septembrie 1971. Înregistrarea a rămas needitată timp de peste 50 de ani, fiind abia acum remixată de pe benzile multicanal originale de către membrul fondator și trompetist Lee Loughnane împreună cu inginerul de sunet Tim Jessup. Pe dublul album se regăsesc piese precum Loneliness Is Just a Word, Beginnings sau Colour My World.
