The Darkness este o formație rock britanică ce îmbină glam rock-ul cu hard rock-ul și heavy metal-ul. Cunoscută pentru aparițiile sale teatrale și stilul spectaculos, trupa continuă moștenirea unor nume precum Queen, AC/DC sau Led Zeppelin.
Albumul Permission to Land a fost lansat în 2003 de casa de discuri Atlantic și a devenit imediat un fenomen – a atins primul loc în Marea Britanie, iar trupa a primit trei premii Brit Awards. Piesele I Believe in a Thing Called Love, Growing on Me și Love Is Only a Feeling au devenit imnuri ale noului mileniu. Această ediție limitată de colecție din 2023 oferă 5 discuri de vinil negru într-un box de lux cu booklet de 40 de pagini: pe lângă albumul remasterizat, include bonusuri de studio, single-uri, piese de pe fețele B și înregistrări complete live de la concertele de la Knebworth și Astoria din 2003.
