Deserted Fear este o trupă germană de death metal din Eisenberg, fondată în 2007. Stilistic, se încadrează în old school death metal cu elemente melodice.
Albumul Doomsday a apărut în 2022 la casa de discuri Century Media, fiind al patrulea album de studio al trupei. Muzical, continuă linia albumelor anterioare My Empire (2012), Kingdom of Worms (2014), Dead Shores Rising (2017) și Drowned by Humanity (2019). Materialul conține treisprezece piese, inclusiv secțiuni instrumentale scurte (Intro, At Its End) care împart albumul în segmente tematice. Printre piesele remarcabile se numără titulara Doomsday, Part of the End și Funeral of the Earth.
La album au lucrat Manuel Glatter (voce, chitară ritmică), Fabian Hildebrandt (chitară lead, chitară bas) și Simon Mengs (tobe) – componența care funcționează de la înființarea trupei în 2007.
