DevilDriver este o trupă din Santa Barbara, California, înființată în 2002, care interpretează melodic death metal cu elemente de groove metal. Grupul a fost creat la inițiativa vocalistului Dez Fafara, cunoscut din activitatea anterioară la Coal Chamber.
Compilația Clouds Over California a fost lansată în 2022 de casa de discuri BMG și reunește pe cinci CD-uri albumele de studio pe care trupa le-a înregistrat pentru legendara casă de discuri Roadrunner între 2003 și 2011. Colecția cuprinde în total 60 de piese și oferă o imagine completă asupra primei perioade de creație a grupului, cea mai prolifică. Include compoziții precum Revelation Machine, Hold Back the Day sau Not All Who Wander Are Lost, care au definit sound-ul trupei prin îmbinarea death metalului agresiv cu elemente melodice.
La momentul lansării albumelor originale, componența era formată din Dez Fafara (voce principală), Michael Spreitzer și Alex Lee (chitare electrice), Ashes (chitară bas), Austin D'Amond (tobe) și Christopher Towning.
