Ludovico Einaudi este un pianist și compozitor italian care, după studiile la Conservatorio Verdi din Milano, și-a început cariera în calitate de compozitor clasic, încorporând mai târziu în opera sa elemente de pop, rock, folk și muzică etnică.
Albumul Seven Days Walking pe CD reprezintă un proiect amplu conceput ca o călătorie muzicală de șapte zile, în care aceleași motive și teme — precum Low Mist, Golden Butterflies, Ascent sau The Path of the Fossils — revin în diferite variații de-a lungul zilelor. Fiecare zi oferă o nouă perspectivă asupra acestor piese melancolice și contemplative, în care se reflectă minimalismul caracteristic și lirismul lui Einaudi. Cele șapte discuri formează un ansamblu coerent care dezvăluie transformările subtile și variațiile ideilor muzicale fundamentale.
