Erasure este un duo synthpop britanic format din vocalistul Andy Bell și claviaturistul Vince Clarke. De la mijlocul anilor '80, se numără printre cei mai de succes reprezentanți ai genului, single-urile lor ocupând în mod regulat poziții de frunte în clasamentele britanice.
Albumul Wild! a apărut inițial în octombrie 1989 ca al patrulea album de studio al duoului și a fost al doilea care a propulsat Erasure pe primul loc în topurile britanice. Reeditarea din octombrie 2019 de la Mute prezintă albumul într-o versiune extinsă pe două discuri în ediție DigiBook. Primul CD conține cele 11 piese originale, inclusiv introducerea instrumentală Piano Song și hituri precum Blue Savannah, Drama! sau Star. Al doilea disc oferă 14 remixuri și versiuni live, printre care și înregistrări până acum inedite – remix-ul lui Richard Norris pentru Drama!, mix alternativ al piesei How Many Times? și versiunile live ale Piano Song și Brother and Sister de la London Arena din decembrie 1989.
La momentul lansării albumului, Erasure era alcătuit din Andy Bell (voce) și Vince Clarke (claviaturi).
