Flaming Lips este o trupă americană de rock psihedelic, fondată în 1983 în Oklahoma City. De-a lungul carierei, trupa și-a construit un statut cult datorită abordării experimentale a rockului și a creativității neconvenționale.
Albumul Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robot, lansat în 2002, se numără printre cele mai importante discuri ale trupei. Cu ocazia celei de-a douăzecea aniversări a apărut o ediție jubiliară de lux pe șase discuri de vinil, care prezintă albumul original însoțit de material bonus extins: versiuni demo ale pieselor, rarități care nu au ajuns pe albumul inițial, înregistrări live din emisiuni radio (WXRT, CD101, BBC Radio 1, KCRW, KEXP) și versiuni remix. Printre curiozități se numără versiunea japoneză a piesei titlu, cover-ul „Seven Nation Army” sau „White Christmas”. Ediția LP de colecție oferă o perspectivă completă asupra procesului de creare a acestui disc esențial al rockului alternativ.
