Flotsam and Jetsam este o trupă americană de thrash metal fondată în 1981 la Phoenix, Arizona. În formație a activat basistul Jason Newsted, care la scurt timp după lansarea albumului de debut a plecat la Metallica.
Single-ul Rats in the Temple a apărut în 2026 la casa de discuri Napalm Records. Discul de vinil include piesa cu același nume, cu o durată de 4:45 minute, care prezintă o structură de bază thrash metal, cu elemente de speed metal.
La înregistrare au participat Jason Newsted, Steve Conley la chitară, Bill Bodily, Eric Braverman și Ken Mary la tobe.
