Focus este o trupă olandeză de muzică rock progresiv fondată în 1969 de claviaristul, flautistul și vocalistul Thijs van Leer împreună cu chitaristul Jan Akkerman. Muzica lor combină elemente de compoziție clasică, jazz și hard rock, punând accent pe interpretarea instrumentală și virtuozitate. Trupa a dobândit recunoaștere internațională în principal datorită unor piese precum Hocus Pocus și Sylvia.
Compilația 50 Years: Anthology 1970–1976 a apărut în 2020 la casa de discuri Red Bullet și cartografiază perioada creativă esențială a trupei pe 9 CD-uri cu 102 de piese. Box-ul conține material de pe primele cinci albume de studio, inclusiv versiuni live – de la experimentele timpurii, trecând prin albumul revoluționar Moving Waves (cu hit-urile Hocus Pocus și Eruption), până la complexele Focus III și Anonymus II. Colecția documentează epoca în care Focus se număra printre cele mai importante formații europene de rock progresiv și a vândut peste un milion de albume certificate RIAA în SUA.
