Foreigner este o trupă rock britanico-americană înființată la New York în 1976 de chitaristul Mick Jones și multiinstrumentalistul Ian McDonald. Trupa se numără printre cei mai bine vânduți artiști rock din istorie, cu peste 80 de milioane de discuri vândute în întreaga lume.
Albumul Live at the Rainbow '78 pe LP a fost lansat în 2019 de casa de discuri Eagle Rock Entertainment și captează concertul pe care trupa l-a susținut la Rainbow Theatre din Londra, cu toate biletele vândute, pe 27 aprilie 1978. Înregistrarea cu douăsprezece piese conține hit-uri clasice precum Cold As Ice, Feels Like the First Time, precum și noutățile de atunci Double Vision și Hot Blooded. Punctul culminant este o versiune exuberantă de douăsprezece minute a pieselor Starrider și Headknocker.
La momentul lansării acestui album, componența Foreigner îi includea pe vocalistul Kelly Hansen, chitaristul Mick Jones, basistul Jeff Pilson, claviaturistul Michael Bluestein, bateristul Chris Frazier și chitaristul Bruce Watson.
