Frost* este o trupă britanică de neo-progressive rock, fondată în 2004 de producătorul și claviaturistul Jem Godfrey, cunoscut pentru producția unor hituri pop. După ani de muncă în industria pop mainstream, a decis să revină la prima sa dragoste muzicală – rockul progresiv.
Albumul Life In the Wires apare pe LP și îmbină elemente progresive clasice cu o abordare de producție modernă. Materialul conține 14 piese distribuite pe două discuri de vinil, printre care se remarcă compoziții precum Life In the Wires (Part 1) și Life In the Wires (Part 2), The Solid State Orchestra sau School (Introducing the All Seeing Eye). Trupa a colaborat de-a lungul existenței sale cu numeroși muzicieni din scena progresivă, construindu-și astfel o poziție stabilă în rândul formațiilor britanice de neo-progresiv.
