G3 este un proiect de concerte organizat de chitaristul Joe Satriani, în cadrul căruia participă trei virtuozi instrumentali ai chitarei. De la înființarea sa la mijlocul anilor '90, la proiect au participat numeroase vedete ale scenei chitaristice mondiale în formule schimbătoare.
Albumul dublu Satriani, Vai, Johnson: Reunion Live surprinde un concert în formula legendară Steve Vai, Eric Johnson și Joe Satriani. Fiecare chitarist prezintă mai întâi un set solo de compoziții proprii — Vai deschide cu Gravitas, Tender Surrender sau For the Love of God, Johnson continuă cu Righteous, Freeway Jam și Desert Rose, Satriani adaugă Surfing with the Alien, Satch Boogie și Always with Me, Always with You. Jam-ul final comun aduce versiuni cover pentru Crossroads, Spanish Castle Magic sau Born to Be Wild. Ediția limitată deluxe conține 2 CD-uri cu un total de 27 de înregistrări live.
