Grateful Dead a fost o trupă rock americană fondată în 1965 în California, cunoscută pentru stilul eclectic care îmbina elemente de rock, folk, country, jazz, bluegrass, blues, gospel și muzică psihedelică. Era cunoscută mai ales pentru improvizațiile lungi din concerte și pentru baza devotată de fani, numită Deadheads. În 2007, trupa a primit premiul Grammy pentru întreaga carieră.
Albumul Boston Garden, Boston, Ma 5/7/77 (RSD 2023) pe vinil surprinde concertul din 7 mai 1977 de la Boston Garden. Este o ediție limitată pentru Record Store Day 2023, al cărui scop este să susțină magazinele tradiționale de muzică. Printre înregistrări se numără piese precum Bertha, Terrapin Station, Friend of the Devil sau Eyes of the World.
