The Grateful Dead a fost o trupă rock americană cunoscută pentru stilul ei eclectic care îmbina rockul, bluesul, jazzul, folk-ul, country-ul și psychedelia. A devenit celebră pentru improvizațiile extinse din cadrul concertelor și pentru baza de fani devotați cunoscută sub numele de „Deadheads”. În 2007 a primit un premiu Grammy pentru întreaga carieră și este considerată pionieră a scenei jam band.
