Steve Hackett este un chitarist și compozitor britanic care a câștigat notorietate ca membru al formației de rock progresiv Genesis între 1971 și 1977, cu care a înregistrat șase albume de studio. Din 2010 este membru al Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Cariera sa solo acoperă un spectru larg — de la rock progresiv, blues și jazz până la muzică clasică.
Albumul live Selling England by the Pound & Spectral Mornings: Live at Hammersmith a apărut în 2020 la casa de discuri Inside Out Music și oferă pe trei CD înregistrarea unui concert londonez cu 42 de piese. Hackett prezintă integral albumul emblematic al Genesis Selling England by the Pound (1973) și propriul album solo Spectral Mornings (1979). Printre piesele evidențiate se numără Firth of Fifth, The Cinema Show, I Know What I Like și titularul Spectral Mornings. Setul live complet surprinde măiestria chitaristică a lui Hackett și abordarea sa unică a repertoriului care îmbină moștenirea Genesis cu opera solo.
