Ice Cube (pe numele real O'Shea Jackson Sr.) este un rapper și actor american, care a devenit celebru ca membru al controversatei trupe N.W.A. Și-a început cariera solo în 1989, devenind unul dintre primii artiști care s-au impus în subgenul gangsta rap. În 2016 a fost introdus împreună cu ceilalți membri ai N.W.A în Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Albumul Man Up a fost lansat la casa de discuri Lench Mob Records și oferă paisprezece piese de west coast rap cu un mesaj politic tipic. Pe album colaborează Scarface și Quake Matthews, printre piesele remarcabile numărându-se Freedumb, California Dreamin' și It's My Ego.
