James Brown a fost un cântăreț american, compozitor și pionier al muzicii funk și soul, recunoscut ca „Godfather of Soul”. Muzica sa a influențat profund rhythm and blues-ul și mai târziu hip-hop-ul.
Albumul Black Caesar a fost lansat în februarie 1973 la casa de discuri Polydor ca coloană sonoră pentru filmul cu același nume.
