Ben E. King (pe numele său real Benjamin Earl Nelson) a fost un cântăreț american de soul și R&B, devenit celebru drept vocea principală a grupului The Drifters și ca autor al hitului „Stand by Me”. Începând cu 1961 a lansat albume solo, iar piesele sale sunt considerate clasice ale genului.
