Leaves' Eyes este o formație germană de symphonic metal fondată în 2003. În muzica sa se îmbină elemente de gothic metal și folk metal. În 2016 a avut loc o schimbare semnificativă, când vocalista originală Liv Kristine a fost înlocuită de Elina Siirala.
Albumul The Last Viking a apărut în 2020 la casa de discuri AFM Records și conține în total 28 de piese distribuite pe 2 CD-uri. Primul disc include albumul de studio complet, incluzând piesa epică finală The Last Viking cu o durată de peste zece minute, în timp ce al doilea CD conține versiuni instrumentale ale pieselor principale. Printre piesele remarcabile ale albumului se numără Chain of the Golden Horn, Dark Love Empress sau War of Kings.
La momentul lansării albumului, formula era alcătuită din vocalista Elina Siirala, Alexander Krull (claviature, voci suplimentare, sampler), chitariștii Thorsten Bauer, Sander Van Der Meer și Micki Richter, precum și tobarul Seven Antonopoulos.
