Level 42 este o trupă britanică de pop-rock și jazz-funk formată în 1979 pe insula Isle of Wight. S-a remarcat în special prin stilul caracteristic de slap-bass al lui Mark King și prin combinația dintre vocea lui King și falsetto-ul claviaturistului Mike Lindup.
Compilația Collected a fost lansată în 2016 de casa de discuri Music on Vinyl și adună 25 de piese din perioada de succes a anilor '80. Include hituri precum Something About You, Lessons in Love, Running in the Family și The Sun Goes Down (Living It Up), care au definit sunetul pop-ului și funk-ului britanic al deceniului.
În momentul lansării, formația era alcătuită din Mark King, Mike Lindup, Nathan King, Sean Freeman, Lyndon Connah, Jakko Jakszyk și Alan Murphy.
