Megadeth este o trupă americană de thrash metal fondată în 1983 la Los Angeles de Dave Mustaine și David Ellefson. Alături de Metallica, Slayer și Anthrax formează așa-numitul „big four” al thrash metalului american. Trupa este caracterizată de structuri complexe ale pieselor, secțiuni ritmice rapide și texte centrate pe politică, război și probleme sociale.
Albumul System Has Failed apare pe LP în versiunea remasterizată din 2019. Discul conține douăsprezece piese, inclusiv Die Dead Enough, Kick the Chair sau Of Mice and Men. Noua procesare audio aduce înregistrărilor clasice o dinamică îmbunătățită și o detaliere mai precisă a instrumentelor caracteristice acestui sunet thrash metal.
