Misery Index este o trupă americană de death metal din Baltimore, Maryland, fondată în 2001. Combină death metalul cu elemente de grindcore și hardcore punk, iar versurile abordează frecvent teme politice și sociale.
Albumul Complete Control a fost lansat în 2022 la casa de discuri Century Media ca dublu CD cu 14 piese în total. Primul disc conține compoziții agresive de death metal precum Administer the Dagger, The Eaters and the Eaten sau Rites of Cruelty, iar al doilea disc oferă versiuni instrumentale și înregistrări demo, inclusiv Infiltrators în versiune instrumentală și versiuni demo ale pieselor The Eaters and the Eaten și Complete Control. Este o ediție de colecție care combină material nou cu versiuni de arhivă.
La momentul lansării albumului, trupa era formată din Jason Netherton, Mark Kloeppel, Darin Morris și bateristul Adam Jarvis.
