Necrophobic este o trupă suedeză de blackened death metal fondată în 1989 la Stockholm. Numele provine de la piesa Necrophobic de pe albumul Reign in Blood al formației Slayer. Versurile abordează teme precum întunericul, răul, anticristul și mitologia vikingă.
Albumul Dawn of the Damned a apărut în 2020 la casa de discuri Century Media și cuprinde 10 piese, inclusiv piesa titulară Dawn of the Damned, The Infernal Depths of Eternity de șapte minute și piesa finală Devil's Spawn Attack. Este un nou capitol în metalul extrem suedez, îmbinând elemente de black și death metal.
În momentul lansării, componența era formată din Alexander Friberg (chitară bas), Fredrik Folkare și Johan Bergebäck (chitare), Joakim Sterner (baterie), Sebastian Ramstedt (vocal) și alți membri.
