Willie Nelson este un cântăreț american de muzică country, chitarist, compozitor și actor. A fost una dintre figurile principale ale subgenului outlaw country, care s-a dezvoltat la sfârșitul anilor 1960 ca reacție la restricțiile conservative ale sunetului din Nashville. Albumele Shotgun Willie (1973), Red Headed Stranger (1975) și Stardust (1978) l-au transformat într-una dintre cele mai importante personalități ale muzicii country.
Albumul Live At The Texas Opryhouse 1974 pe dublu vinil cuprinde înregistrări de concert din 29 (sâmbătă) și 30 (duminică) iunie 1974 de la Texas Opry House din Austin. Înregistrarea a apărut în 2022 ca parte a campaniei Record Store Day într-un tiraj limitat de 12 000 de exemplare. Primul disc de vinil include, printre altele, medley-ul de clasice Funny How Time Slips Away / Crazy / Night Life și piesa Bloody Mary Morning, iar al doilea disc prezintă piese precum Good Hearted Woman, Shotgun Willie sau versiunea cu chitară electrică a piesei Bloody Mary Morning.
