Pentatonix este un grup american a cappella format din cinci vocaliști. Muzica lor se caracterizează printr-un sunet pop creat exclusiv prin voce – vocalize, beatbox, riff-uri și elemente ritmice. Au câștigat concursul The Sing-Off în 2011.
Albumul We Need a Little Christmas a fost lansat în noiembrie 2020 de RCA Records, fiind al patrulea album de Crăciun al grupului. Cele treisprezece piese includ standarde festive și aranjamente surprinzătoare ale melodiilor populare – de exemplu 12 Days of Christmas, medley-ul Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer / Run, Rudolph Run, My Favorite Things sau Santa Tell Me de Ariana Grande. Pentatonix combină aici cântecele tradiționale de Crăciun cu un sunet pop și teme din filme precum When You Wish Upon a Star sau Once Upon a December.
La momentul lansării, grupul era format din Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, Kevin Olusola și Matt Sallee.
