Madeleine Peyroux este o cântăreață americană de jazz cunoscută pentru vocea ei fină, afumată și pentru interpretări la granița dintre jazz, blues și șansonetă. Stilul ei amintește de marile legende ale jazzului, precum Billie Holiday.
Albumul Careless Love în ediția deluxe pe trei viniluri cuprinde înregistrarea de studio completată cu două LP-uri de material live din cadrul festivalului din orașul basc Vitoria-Gasteiz din iulie 2005. Partea de studio include piese precum Dance Me to the End of Love, Don't Wait Too Long sau Between the Bars, repertoriul întinzându-se de la preluări de la Bob Dylan, trecând prin standarde de jazz, până la șansoneta franceză J'ai Deux Amours. Înregistrarea live surprinde atmosfera intimă a concertului de festival cu piese din albumul original și alte compoziții precum Walking After Midnight sau Destination Moon.
