Placebo este un duo britanic de rock alternativ format la Londra în 1994 de vocalistul și chitaristul Brian Molko și basistul Stefan Olsdal. Trupa a devenit cunoscută prin hitul Nancy Boy de pe albumul lor de debut.
Albumul Placebo Re:Created pe vinil LP oferă versiuni prelucrate ale pieselor de pe primul lor album eponim din 1996. Ediția limitată pe vinil alb cuprinde zece înregistrări, printre care Nancy Boy, Teenage Angst și Lady of the Flowers, completate de un single bonus cu piesele Drowning By Numbers și H.K. Farewell. Versiunile RE:CREATED oferă o perspectivă nouă asupra compozițiilor clasice din primii ani ai trupei.
